Wow! It has been quite a while I have not updated my blog due to my hectic and absolutely mad life at office. I was surprised to receive a call from me cousin Kak Nor late this evening. I must admit I have not contacted my cousins like I used to be lately coz Ive been tremendously busy at work and I don't blame if some of you having doubt if I told you Ive been really really busy. At work, I even forget to go to the loo sometimes haha...
Last week, my cousin Kak Ila rang me and told me that my cousin Edy has been admitted to the hospital. I took a time off in the afternoon and rushed to the Ampang Hospital to give him a visit. He looked so pity with all those wires on him and he was so skinny. I barely see his bone. I was told he was admitted after his family took him to the hospital because he has had a fever for several days and due to that also he has become too weak until he cant even barely move his arm. We were informed that he had been diagnosed to have diabetes and lung infection. May Allah bless him and hope he will recover soon.
Last weekend my cousin Syaffieq and his family came down to KL to visit my cousin Edy. Later that night, we went for Dinner at the Medan Selera Kg Pandan. I went to the Medan Selera few times with Syaffieq everytime he comes to KL to meet his fiancee Ieda. His fiancee Ieda works at JB while he himself works at Ipoh. Therefore, KL is kind of their meeting place and I was appointed as their Personal Advisor or Best Person in every way (ahaks.. I bet he will say something nasty to me after reading my blog today) Anyway, before went to the Medan Selera that I suggested. My Aunty told us she didnt want to eat and she was thinking of having Ice Kacang or anything light at the Medan Selera. Jaga badan ler tu... I spontenously replied back to her
'we'll see'. I'd reckon them to try the westerns there, not too bad and quite cheap. Hmm... after looking at the menu, she was the first person to order ' Chicken Chop satu dik'. I looked at her and smile.... I said, 'Ingatkan tadi tak nak makan?'. she just gigled.
At the Medan Selera, I met my long long lost old friend
Asmawaty. We've been friends ever since I was at the Uitm Segamat. We used to be best buddy and I went to classes with her everyday from my first year until we graduated. The last time I met her was before I went to UK in year 2004 and since that moment we havent met each other. I even missed her wedding bcoz I was abroad when she got married. I saw her daughter Atikah too. She looked so cute with her curly hair. Adorable.
Last Monday also, I had a tea and pot luck at my friend's Izwah. She told me that my mate Bad is going to Doha, Qatar on Thursday. He has got a job offer as Senior QS there with a massive offer. Wish him the best of all and hope to see come back to Msia with big bucks!
